Freedom is not worth having if it does not connote freedom to err. It passes my comprehension how human beings, be they ever so experienced and able, can delight in depriving other human beings of that precious right.

How You Can Help

  1. Matrix Real Estate is donating half their commission to The Living School
  2. TELL PEOPLE ABOUT US!!! Nothing is better than word of mouth.
  3. Research and apply for grants. The Living School is a nonprofit entity that would like to make education affordable for anybody. There is a lot of money available for education, but we need somebody to look into the possibilities.
  4. Do a fundraiser. Raising money allows us to offer tuition scholarships and to expand our budget for operating costs.
  5. Donate money. Because we are a nonprofit organization, all donations are tax deductible. Mail donations to The Living School, PO Box 6105, Boulder, CO 80306
  6. Donate money without even trying. Try escrip and a percentage of your purchases goes straight to us. Tell your friends.
  7. OK - try a little. Buy scrip from us for use at local markets - Safeway, King Sooper, Vitamin Cottage, etc.
  8. Buy books in our Resource Links section and we get a cut.
  9. Write articles. Let people know the Living School exists by submitting letters and articles to magazines and newspapers.
  10. Organize a public talk. One of the founders, or perhaps even you, could give a talk to a group of interested people.
  11. Disperse flyers and brochures. We have ongoing events that publicize the school, and we always need help getting the word out about what we are doing.
  12. Do a shift at an Open House or a booth at a public event. Hand out information and answer questions.
  13. Volunteer your time. Teach and help us run the school.
  14. We hold a monthly yard sale. If you have any items cluttering up your garages, basements, attics, closets etc and would like to donate them, we would greatly appreciate it.  We are able to offer a tax deductible donation receipt for any donations.  All Donations can be dropped off at the Living School, 1852 Arapahoe  Monday through Friday 9-3 or other times by arrangement 303 449 0866.
  15. The school runs an "eBay store", a student/staff collaborative, entrepreneurial venture.  If you have any items that you would be willing to donate that are "auction worthy" (collectibles, jewelry, electronics, tools etc.) We are able to offer a tax deductible donation receipt for any donations.  All Donations can be dropped off at the Living School, 1852 Arapahoe  Monday through Friday 9-3 or other times by arrangement 303 449 0866.
  16. Provide a professional service. We currently need:
    • public relations person for media contact
    • handyperson
    • special project coordinators
