The Living School: Events

These classes are open to homeschoolers, unschoolers, public schoolers and enrolled students at The Living School. Check back as we are adding new classes monthly. FIRST FRIDAY POTLUCK SOCIAL *FREE*

Please join us on the first Friday of each month from Noon-1:00pm. Kids must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Make a delicious, creative, yummy treat to share! Spend an afternoon making new friends at the Living School! The next dates are November 2nd and December 7th.

Join us at the Living School as we invite students from the community to participate in our Friday Fun-Day learning projects, 2 day classes and workshops. We ask that each child is attending based on his/her own desire to do so. While we always want our children to have exposure to a variety of experiences, we find that it is detrimental to the flow of our learning community when children attend activities based on parents desires and not their own.

Pre- registration is required for all Friday Fun-Day Classes, 2 day classes and workshops.

1. Call the Living School at 303.449.0866 or send email to info@livingschool.org including the following information:
Parent's name, physical address, and phone number.
Parent's email address.
Name, day, and time of class in which you wish to enroll.
Child's name and age.

2. After you receive confirmation of enrollment send a check payable to "The Living School" for the full cost of the class to:

3. Your check reserves a space in the class. Your space is not reserved until your check is received.

Cancellation Policy Back to top
You will be notified of any cancellation by email and by phone the day before a class meets for the first time. In case of cancellation, all class fees will be immediately refunded.

Non-coercion Policy
The Living School is dedicated to the principle of non-coercive learning. We believe effective learning must be voluntary. Therefore, please enroll your child in a Living School class only if he or she has expressed a strong desire to take the class.

Flexibility Policy
The Living School is dedicated to the principle of student-centered learning. Instructors may, at their sole discretion, alter the content of their class to better fit the needs and interests of a particular group of students.

Refund policy
The Living School is a non-profit organization dedicated to effective, caring learning that benefits our community. Classes are kept small and are run for the lowest possible cost. Therefore, in order to be fair to the whole community, we cannot provide refunds if a student cannot attend a class or classes.

The Living School is located at 1852 Arapahoe, Boulder, the Southwest corner of 19th and Arapahoe between Boulder High and Naropa's main campus. It is a bright blue building with the entrance around the back through a gate.
